Dr. Alex Chamberland earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of New England and his Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University in Massachusetts, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Chamberland served as Vice President of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Society and received honors for his clinical excellence. He completed externships in ocular disease and primary eye care. Dr. Chamberland is a member of the Maine Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Alex Chamberland grew up in Winthrop, Maine and is happy to be back in his home state providing quality eye care to the people of Maine. Dr. Chamberland enjoys skiing, biking, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Chamberland and Cote Eye Care has a large dispensary that displays frames in a manner that makes choosing frames easy. We welcome most outside prescriptions and provide complimentary repairs and adjustments.

Our doctors practice high-level optometry by combining years of experience with the latest technology. We are committed to providing quality eye care in a comfortable setting.
Patients of all ages, including infants, are welcome at our office. We do much more than evaluate a person’s need for vision correction, we perform tests to rule out medical problems.
